Vinelife’s Power Evangelism Team Letting Love Reach

When we first started doing this three years ago we were terrified and anxious about approaching people and talking to them while waiting and listening to what the Spirit wanted us to say but we pushed ourselves out of our comfort zone and were amazed at what God did to meet us there. Nothing compares to experiencing God loving the world He died for through you as you watch eyes light up and the tears flow. Really! Your heart will love this! God loves this! Scared? No problem we understand. Sick to your stomach? Been there done that, come anyway!

We will be going out the first Saturday of each month. As teams develop and gain comfort in the natural expression of moving in their gifts in the market-place, the opportunity for more outreaches will increase.

Come and join us November 15th from 9 am – 2 pm and experience the great fun of watching God’s Love pierce hearts.

This outreach is part of our Thanksgiving Share the Gift Outreach.

We are just ordinary people willing to put our faith on the line and watch God move it is really incredible. As John Wimber used to say ….”we get to do the stuff” referring to what the scripture says these signs will follow those who believe……

Here are just a few of the cool stories from some of the recent outreaches.

“Our group came across a guy in a wheel chair and we all wanted to pray but we started with just one of us praying and then another. While this was going on a woman came up and watched us praying for him. She started weeping and I asked if she was okay and she said yes she was just overcome by compassion for the man. I thought she was a friend of someone in our group so I assumed she was a believer but found out later she was either just someone who came up and saw what the spirit of God was doing and was overwhelmed by it. When we were heading home I cut across the park and there she was under a tree still weeping. I was able to bless her spirit and her beautiful heart in Jesus’ Name.”

“One of us had been given a ring by someone who had died a while back and had not worn that ring in all these months but began wearing it the week of the outreach. We came across a homeless woman who had been best friends with the original owner of the ring and as we spoke to her realized that the Lord wanted the ring to go to her. When she received the ring she wept and wept and God touched her heart greatly.”

“We prayed for the knee of man who had a brace on it and had been injured and as we were praying the man felt heat and the pain left him.”

“We met a man who we had prayed for in the tent on Memorial Day and he told us that he was better since we had prayed and thanked us again.”
