Vinelife Church is an expanding kingdom community marked by God’s Presence, family, creativity, and goodness. We want to see the world awaken to know the fullness of life in Christ.
The name “Vinelife” comes from John 15:5-8. In that passage, Jesus talks about how He is the vine and we are the branches. We are intimately connected to Him and He is the source of life. As we live our lives from Him, Jesus said that we would bear much fruit for the world to see.
In John 10, Jesus boldly declared that He came to bring us life – abundant life. Our vision is to partner with Jesus in this work until the world is awakened to know the fullness of His life. To that end, we see ourselves as an expanding kingdom community marked by the life described in Isaiah 61 & John 15. As we abide in the Presence of God, we are shaped into a loving family that builds each other up into maturity and creative purpose – all for the good of the world.
Our 4 Expressions of Life
We believe “these expression of life” are the places where we awaken to life in Christ and also how we are called to bring life into our spheres of influence.
We believe God’s intention for the human race is for us to live in unrestrained fellowship with Him. After sin fractured this relationship, the Father sent His beloved son Jesus to model oneness with the Father and through His life, death, and resurrection – to restore again our relationship with God. This is why our highest priority and greatest joy is enjoying His Presence. He is Christ in us, the hope of glory, and through him we have been given full access to abundant life. The way we worship, the way we serve, and the way we live is about abiding in His Presence and celebrating His nearness.

Personal Questions: Who am I in Christ? Who is Christ in me? How do I experience God? Am I filled with the Holy Spirit? What risks would I take if I was sure God was with me?
The glorious work of Jesus not only restored our relationship with God, but brought us into His loving family – the Church. We see the Vinelife community as a “home” that seeks to honor and value each person as one loved by God and made in His image. Just like any other family, the “family of God” is sometimes messy and takes work, but this where our love has a chance to mature into something beautiful. For this reason, we gladly serve and contribute the best of who we are and what we have to build each other up in love.
Scriptures: Ps. 68:6, Acts 2:42, 1 Pet. 2:9
Key Activities: Children’s Ministry, Student Ministries, House Churches, The City, Serving & Giving Opportunities Personal
Questions: Who am I doing life with? Who are my spiritual fathers and mothers? How am I contributing to this family?
When we step into our God-given identity and divine purpose, we are able to display to the world a part of God that otherwise may not be seen. This is why we are committed to a life long discovery and exploration of who we are in Christ. We are a people of possibilities, called to live creatively in every sphere of influence God has given us.

Personal Questions: Am I able to see what God has prepared for me? What gifts, abilities, experiences, and testimonies have I been given? Do I bring possibilites and solutions to my spheres of influence?
The full expression of the Kingdom life results in bearing good fruit and bringing blessing to the world in which we live. We have a mandate to partner with Jesus in the restoration and renewal of all things. This means we get to release God’s presence and bring the realities of heaven to our families, neighbors, co-workers, and the ends of the earth. We believe our living should result in the “insteads” detailed in Isaiah 61.

I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples. – John 15:5-8
