On Sunday, September 13th, let’s lift a sound of worship on Pearl Street at the very heart of Boulder.

What is this?

Take the City is a “spontaneous” outreach by united area churches, proceeded by worship and intercession teams, who will lead the way from Pearl Street mall to Central Park. There, we’ll gather together to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, worship and minister to those in attendance.

Why?

There is an escalating amount of fear, isolation, and division plaguing our nation. We believe the sound of our worship is one of God’s strategies to push back the darkness and be a blessing in the city. We also believe this will provide opportunities to have conversations, pray for the sick, and extend the love of Christ.

What about COVID-19 Guidelines?

We are encouraging our community to abide with local health guidelines. This means we will wear masks and respect the preferences of those who would like to remain socially distant.

When are we meeting?

We are encouraging participants to meet at the Vinelife property at 1 p.m. to pray, go over the game plan, and carpool into Boulder.

Vinelife will be leading a wave of worship starting at 3:10 p.m. in front of Illegal Pete’s on 15th & Pearl St.. We will walk as we worship and meet other area churches in Central Park.

What if I can’t come to Boulder?

Join others for a special time of prayer on Zoom starting at 3 p.m.. Join Zoom call here.
